Review: Hunted on the Bay
Hunted on the Bay by Amber Leigh WilliamsMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Always had a thing for harlequin stories, & this story I must say is a good read. I liked the characters, & I enjoyed the suspense of the story which made the book as entertaining to me. The characters brought to life the story, but the villain I felt was a bit off. Finding love, finding healing, & being able to move forward is something that's a struggle for all. The small town, the family that huddle together and welcomed Dez was rather something that made the story a delight for me, thought being warned off by your possible sister is annoying enough.

Review: Corrupted Vows

OH SHIT!
Well, i'll be damned.
This book was all sorts of good. The plot was thick with suspense, steamy & spicy with hot scenes, & most of all the characters were truely well written & captivating pulling you in with the emotional rollercoaster that they went through. At one point I wanted to cry with Cait, & at a point I wanted to kill the backstabbing prick who'd handed her over to the hell she'd gone through. What a shitload of an experience she went through but still came out stronger than ever. This was a truly wonderful read & I definitely recommend. It a page turner.

Review: The Silent Boy

A book to keep you wanting to know what happens, keep you guessing at who did it. Rated this at 4, not because it wasn't a great read, but because I was lost at first. Started Okay then lost me for a while . I stopped and put it to the side then returned to it. About the third chapter or so in, things looked up and went from there. The mystery of the crime and who did it hooked me in. The fact that the boy was silent and not willing to speak made me wonder at just who the bad person was right up to the end. The author did a good job with the plot and characters. Definitely gonna read the rest of the series. Received as an ARC & this is my honest perspective.

Amber & Adriaan story is one that takes you on a emotional journey. One that makes you feel or picture what it's like to endure such a trauma. Though this started out slow paced, and I was a bit lost for a bit, I quickly found myself wanting to know the outcome of the two. The doc. Patient, relationship was tested by so much of their feelings. The story was told mainly from Amber's pov, but when you did get an insight into how Adriaan felt, well hell...one can only hope they get their happy ending.
